Guitar Zero
It seems that every band is getting their own Guitar Hero game these days; Aerosmith, Metallica, Van Halen, The Beatles… who’s next? I dread to think. I really do.
Guitar Hero is simply just a rhythm game, they’ve been around for years. It’s not some kind of new invention from the netherworld. So why are we being subjected to these rhythm games with a band slapped on top to make it look like a compeltely different game? And the braggers… eugh, the braggers… y’know, the people that can play a certain song on the hardest difficulty without any mistakes and brag to all their friends about it. Like those 2 boys who can play Through The Fire And Flames by DragonForce. How anyone can do that is beyond me, you’d need to be an absolute freak to do that in my opinion. And being able to play that song is all well and good, but can they play it on real guitars? On real drums? I wouldn’t think so…
I’d much rather prefer learning to play songs by these artists with real instruments, and have the game teach me how to play them. I might actually buy that!
Also, Rockband – a complete copy of Guitar Hero, but with a less ridiculous name.
