The lack of updates/activity is no doubt due to my schizophrenic internet. It keeps turning off and on again whenever it pleases, leaving me very small windows of time to actually get something done. I don’t wanna jinx it but right now, it seems okay. However, it’s been like this for 3 days straight. So there’s obviously something awry. I’ll be contacting my internet provider/phone company momentarily to ask them what the Hell’s going on and threaten to leave them if they won’t do anything about it. The delusive, kniving, swindlers that they are.
In other news, my about page (located at the top of any page on this blog) has been updated with a guestbook. So if any visitors wish to leave feedback, make a request for a review/rant/opinion, or wanna throw abuse at me, they can. Please not that the guestbook will be filtered, so watch what you say.
(Well, it isn’t actually a new policy. It’s just that I’ve never told anyone about it.)
From now on, any comments posted on this blog that do not agree with an update that is blatantly true (like yesterday’s “New firmware updates breaks several PS3’s. Again.”) or announce biased views shall be deleted/reported as spam. Grow up 360 fanboys, you cannot win.
Was considering giving the blog a new name. Any suggestions? Preferably involving ghosts or the undead.
Finally! That took for-fucking-ever! Not that I’m complaining, it’s nice to have a game these days with staying power.
An incredible game and it’s going to be even more incredibly difficult to review it. I’d better get started.
I haven’t started writing it yet, but I am very close to finishing the game 100%. I only need 3 more trophies, 4 including the platinum. Got some good ideas for the review when I finally get round to starting it.
Currently watching 1UP’s review of it for inspiration. It’s a decent review, but it really shows you just how cheap 1UP truly is. You can see a boom mic operator reflected in a TV screen and the cameraman can’t keep the fucking camera still.
One can never be a part of too many forums, can one? I recently joined a group called Evil Gamers Online, dedicated to horror/mature games/movies. I’ve taken the role as a moderator for their games section and share my reviews with them, the first being my Aliens vs Predator review.

I’ve just pre-ordered a copy of Heavy Rain due to the fact that Splinter Cell: Conviction was delayed from February 23rd to “April 2010″. Whenever that might be. I will have a review for Heavy Rain written once it arrives and I’ve played a massive chunk, if not all of it.
That’s gonna be a tough game to review.
I may also write a review for The Saboteur in the next couple of days, if I can be arsed.
It shot up from yesterday’s 10 views, to 72. That’s the highest this blog has ever got!
I would be getting Brütal Legend if I hadn’t already pre-ordered Uncharted 2. Sorry Brütal Legend, but there’s no way I’m spending all my money on you when there’s another Uncharted game out on the same day. Perhaps Christmas, eh?
This blog has reached 700 hauntings (hits/views), which is pretty cool. Lets see if we can reach 1,000 before the end of the year!
